Thank you for stopping by, I am Christina, the founder and lead travel designer here at Journey Lady. I along with my co-founder, RoseAnn have a team of advisors from the USA to Italy that all work closely to execute everything Italy. 

I was born and raised in Florida, but my family roots extend to Calabria, Italy where many of them still live today. RoseAnn was born in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Florida. RoseAnn has an operational background in business and food procurement. Her family roots extend to the town of Ciro, also in Calabria, Italy.

After my first trip to Italy, I had wished that I had found this extraordinary place and secret way of life sooner, so I took every opportunity to visit this beautiful country many times over.  The meaning of, ‘la dolce vita,’  or the sweet life, was finally clear to me. It was an expression used to describe a life full of beauty and pleasures found in even mundane events.  Italy has suffered great darkness and drama, but the Italian people stayed in pursuit of pleasure and happiness through a life of love, good music and food…

After working in the travel industry for over 25 years and raising two incredible humans, we made another special trip with my father, cousin, best friend and co-founder RoseAnn, to my fathers hometown in Calabria.  We made our way to my fathers family farm where we dined, ‘al fresco,’ amongst the grape vines, we picked fruit from the side of the road, swam the crystalline beaches of Tropea, climbed hills so steep we thought we reached the sky, met new friends that now became like family. We fell more in love with this beautiful country than ever before.
